Team India goes Asian Surfing Championship, Maldives

9 surf athletes represent India at the Asian Surfing Championship held in Maldives. The ASC is also a selection for the Asian Games AICHI, NAGOYA 2026 Qualifier. Selections for the ASC were based on Rankings and Safety (capability of the athlete to perform at cokes). SFI did request the ASC for an exemption to register the athletes post the 2024 event rankings which was rebuked by the ASC hence prior rankings were considered for selection of the National Squad.

As our national squad gears up for the ASC we are looking forward to some stelar performances by the chosen athletes.
